Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was fantastic for exploring the area, especially being close to shopping and tourist attractions, the condition of the room left much to be desired. The staff was somewhat unhelpful, and the cleanliness wasn't up to standard. However, the availability of hot water and air conditioning was a plus.
I had a disappointing experience at this hotel due to a serious lack of organization. Despite having a confirmed reservation via email, upon arrival, I was told there were no rooms available. This led to a very uncomfortable night at the airport. While the location is central and convenient, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience with their service and lack of integrity.
My stay at this place had its ups and downs. The central location is a huge plus, making it easy to explore the area. However, the room I had left much to be desired in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The service was quite lackluster, with staff often seeming more preoccupied with personal matters than guests. While it's budget-friendly, it's definitely not ideal for a comfortable stay.
City Park Lodge is a budget-friendly option with a prime location near key attractions and markets. While the rooms are small and could use some maintenance, they offer decent comfort for short stays. The staff is welcoming, but the experience can vary significantly based on room selection. It's certainly good value for money if you're looking for a convenient base to explore the area.
City Park Lodge offers a budget-friendly stay in Kota Kinabalu with a superb location just minutes from attractions and local markets. The rooms are clean, but they are quite small and might not suit families, especially with luggage. The service from the staff is consistent, but there are concerns about reliability, particularly when it comes to reservations. Overall, it's a decent option for solo travelers or couples looking to explore the area on a budget.
